Custom home buildingColorado custom homes & major renovations
A design-build firm for homeowners planning a custom home, a mountain property, or a major renovation in Colorado. We take ten projects a year, and we tell you what the site will really cost before anyone draws a line.
Where legacy begins
Since 2000 we have built custom homes and reimagined estates across Colorado’s foothills, high country and front range communities. We work with homeowners who value discretion, precision, and an honest answer early — including when the honest answer is that a site will not carry the house they have in mind.
Ten projects a year is not a marketing line. It is the number that lets the builder stand on your site rather than manage it from a truck, and it is why 89% of our work arrives through past clients and the architects who have worked with us.

Renovations & additionsSoil, slope, access, utilities and entitlement reviewed before you commit to a parcel — or before a design outruns the site.

Client perspectives
Our architect introduced us to Chris and we count ourselves lucky she did. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience building in mountains, which is incredibly important. He is responsive and prioritises you. Highly recommended.Eric Neal
Our methodology
The Unison Protocol is the process we have refined over two decades. Site and soil engineering, zoning and entitlement review, design, and a full budget reconciliation you sign off on — all before a single subcontractor is hired. It is the reason our projects do not discover their real cost halfway through the framing.
